Superb Ways to Workout as a busy mom without killing yourself

I’m going to mix it up today! Some of you have asked about some quick workouts that you can do with your kids or while your kids are playing or napping. I have just the workouts for you!

We are busy mammas! Am I right?!

Working out does not have to be FOREVER long! These workouts are short and sweet but, they pack a HUGE punch!

Let’s get started!

Middle of the day Nap Time Workout

If you have a set of stairs this workout is perfect for you.  This workout is a 12 minute total body makeover and you don’t need any kind of equipment!

  • tricep dips
  • push ups
  • running up and down the stairs
  • bum lifts
  • one leg bum lifts
  • calf raises
  • one leg calf raises

Do each exercise for one minute a piece, with a 30 second rest in-between.

Now onto….

Midday Nap Time Pilates Workout

This workout is perfect for your core. Ready for flat abs? This workout combined with a Clean Eating Journey, you will be well on your way. This 6 minute workout packs a mean punch on those abs! Get ready to feel the burn!

  • the 100
  • leg Switches
  • leg Pulls
  • lift and Lower

Do each exercise for one minute a piece, with a 30 second rest in-between.

Upper Body Workout With the Kiddos

This workout requires weights but, if you do not have any weights be creative and use something around your house.  This 6 minute workout will leave your arms and shoulders shaped for those Spring time tank tops!

  • alternating hammer curls with shoulder press
  • alternating tricep extension
  • chest press
  • shoulder raises

Do each exercise for one minute a piece, with a 30 second rest in-between.

Quick Mommy Workout

This one is a little more advanced and packs a huge punch so , take it slow! No equipment needed! This 11 minute workout is serious business so go slow!

  • squat jumps
  • one leg squat jumps
  • leg slap jumps
  • alternating ski jumps
  • one leg lunges
  • oblique crunches

Do each exercise for one minute a piece, with a 30 second rest in-between.

Go slow with all of these exercises and take your time. Remember if you are sluggish it may be from your diet. Nutrition and fitness go hand in hand. You cannot have one without the other. Abs start in the kitchen so, if you aren’t getting the results you want you might want to change your nutrition journey.
