I have a tendency to snack some days. Especially on days that are loaded with cardio or an extensive (more than normal) workout. I am not huge on carbs every single day, but every once in a while it isn’t terrible. Besides the kids love this recipe and it makes for an easy go-to snack. We substitute Sunbutter for the Peanut butter around here due to nut allergies, but this recipe works either way and will make the kids and yourself happy. My friend introduced these to me years ago and I have been eating them ever since. The best part is, every single time I eat one of these or make them for the kiddos I think of her. So that makes it even sweeter of a treat!

Peanut Butter and Banana Snack

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 wheat tortilla
  • 1 teaspoon of peanut butter
  • drizzle of honey if desired

Instructions

  • Cut your banana and tortilla in half.
  • Spread your peanut butter on top of the tortilla.
  • Add the banana.
  • Drizzle with honey.
  • Wrap and roll.
  • Eat!!
