I am tackling a new adventure today that I am super excited about!

As you know I love to exercise! I know what you are thinking, I am super weird. And yes you are right, in more ways than one, though!

Today I am starting a 60 day PiYo Challenge! Every Monday I will be posting results, how I’m feeling and much more! I am super excited about this adventure! I have not had the time to exercise like I am used to, since having the twins so, I have not had the results like I have wanted either. Needless to say,  I am ready for this adventure that I am taking!

So, what is PiYo? PiYo is created by Chalene Johnson. (I have done some of her other workouts in the past including, Chalene Extreme and my fave, Turbo Jam.) “In this workout Chalene Johnson takes the very best of Pilates and Yoga-Inspired moves and cranked up the speed to give you full throttle cardio, strength, and flexibility-all at once. PiYo packs it all into each workout so you can build muscle mass-as you’re burning crazy calories.”

The 60 day challenge also includes meal plans, shakes by Shakeology and online support from my Facebook Accountability Support Group, as well as support from other participants! Coach’s (like me) services are absolutely FREE!  Coaches are here to help their participants achieve results and to succeed. Even though I am just starting I have learned so much already!

This past week was my prep week, so I have been getting everything ready that I need including, DVDs, food and meal plans. Even though I am the worst meal planner ever, she has already given me ideas, tips and tricks that will help me plan a successful meal plan.

So glad that you are taking this adventure with me! You are the ones who will be holding me accountable and cheering me on! I need some “hoots and hollers,” don’t be shy! I’m not going to lie, it will be a challenge (that’s why it’s called a 60 day challenge) but, it will be worth the time and effort! I will keep you posted! **UPDATE** Okay, so I just finished my first workout of the program and I am going to love this! If you do not like “traditional Yoga” this could definitely work for you. PiYo takes more of an “athletic” approach to Yoga. When I  instructed Yoga classes this was the approach I took. Remember, I have not instructed Yoga classes in a few years now so, it does not take an “in shape” person to do this workout. Chalene modifies everything so you can do it to the best of your ability! I’m working up to the advanced moves but, not there yet!!!
