Here are a few Shakeology recipes my family and I enjoy. Some I cannot take credit for but, we make them all of the time. I have tweaked them to make them our own and to make some picky taste buds happy. Enjoy! If you come up with an awesome recipe let me know, I would love to try it and post it here on the blog for everyone else to try too!
My favorite: Mandi’s Strawberry Vegan Shake
10-12 ounces of water
1/2 cup of frozen organic strawberries
1 tablespoon of raw organic sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon Organic Coconut Oil
1 scoop of Tropical Strawberry Vegan Shakeology
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
My twin Boys’ favorite: Vanilla, Mango and Peach Shake
12 ounces of water
1/2 cup frozen organic mangos
1/2 cup frozen organic peaches
1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil
1 scoop of Vanilla Shakeology
*If the mixture is still too thick I add coconut water to the mixture until thinner.
* Note: There is an added fruit in this shake. My boys are growing and they are allowed a few extra calories. If you don’t want the extra calories back off a bit….
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
My daughter’s favorite: Chocolate “Milkshake” 😉 Shake
12 ounces of water
1/4- 1/2 of an organic banana
1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil
1 scoop of Vegan Chocolate Shakeology
1 teaspoon of Organic Sunbutter (she has a nut allergy but, you can use any organic nut butter.)
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
Chris’ favorite: Vanilla Blueberry Shake
10 ounces of water
1/2 cup of organic frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil
1 scoop of Vanilla Shakeology
splash of organic banana or coconut extract
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
My favorite afternoon treat: Vanilla Mocha Shake
1 cup brewed unsweetened coffee; cooled
1/2 tsp pure organic vanilla extract
1 scoop Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
1 cup of ice
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
My Mom’s favorite: Lynda’s Vanilla Coffee Frapp
1 cup brewed unsweetened coffee; cooled
I scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 to 1 cup coconut milk
1 cup of ice (Ice makes it a perfect frappuccino without the guilt)
Place it all together in your blender: cover. Blend until smooth!
*Mom likes to freeze her coffee and blend into her shake as well. Eliminate the cup of ice if using this method.
