25 Days of Children’s Christmas Books is a tradition that we hold near and dear to our heart. We look forward to reading Children’s Christmas Books every single year.

As you know we are a homeschool family so anytime we can bring the holidays and reading together is a huge plus. Over the years we have accumulated lots of Christmas books and we make sure to make them a huge part of our Christmas season. Every night starting December 1 we make a point to sit as a family and have one of the kids read a book to us. The ones they can’t read we read to them. Some are classics and others are a few they have grown to love over the years. Some speak of traditions, the season of Christmas and others about the weather.

Get creative! As you read some of them you may want to start a tradition of some kind with your family by bringing the characters to life in your home. Here are a few ideas you can use in your own homeschool or family time together!

This book list has been with our family for many years and I hope to pass this tradition down to my grandkids, as well. Starting November 30 we will continue our tradition and go all the way to December 24, one book for everyday! What books do you like to read during the Christmas season? What would you add to the list?
